What free web hosting sites are allowed to be viewed on a school computers(that block sites, of course)? There are free web hosting services that you can find on Google or any other search engine, but which one of those is accessible in school? I have made one or two websites in the past, and neither of them were able to be viewed at school.
If you wanted to know why, it’s a club website. And I’m in High School, if that’s any help.What free web hosting sites are allowed in school?

One thing to keep in mind is, all schools now have techs working with them to monitor all student activities with computers. This is why schools have blocks on their internet because of students like you, getting on the internet instead of doing their work. School computers are for work not your personal fun time. If this is a school project, ask the teacher for permission to allow access into the internet.What free web hosting sites are allowed in school?

I am in the process of planning a web site. I already own the domain name but not sure where to go next. I have some limited computer skills but do not know the first thing about desighning a web site. since i have a limited budget I would like to find a hosting company that is highly rated as far as adequate band width, and customer service etc. but will not break my pocket book on a monthly basis. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I already have an account on justhost.com but what software should i use to create a very simple menu system (without blogs or minimal writting) but a very professional and sleek design like a strip across the screen, not just a traditional wide vertical panel down the middle loaded with information.

I cannot logon to the control panel. I have hosted so many sites on Hostmonster.com. I called to the technical support service. They told that a problem in with power at Provo. The server will be up soon. But still not working. Actually what happen to Provo city?Is Hostmonster.com down?

Oh, and the unlimited web space is a must, as im going to start hosting all of my anime episodes and movies directly on the site. (Roughly 50gb+ in web space)000webhost.com, justhost.com, or .com?

If you really need 50GB+ of diskspace then you will need:
1) Semi dedicated hosting. Which is just another way of saying shared hosting with high limits.
2) A small dedicated server (about 0/month)
3) A larger VPS (/month and up)

In all cased be sure to read the contract and look for limitations

Unlimited web hosting does NOT exist. Unlimited is a marketing term, not a technical term. Any web host that offers unlimited anything will always have restrictions that effectively limit what you can do. For example justhost explicitly forbids multimedia downloads/streaming on their unlimited disk space packages. Other hosts will have similar restriction.

I have been researching web hosting companies and i have been with justhost and 1on1 and their customer service is horrible, I have been looking at a few smaller web hosting companies like ILink http://www.ilinkwebhosting.com. Anyone have any experiences with them?Looking for good small web hosting company?

I’m hoping this was of some help to you. Sometimes it IS worth it to pay a bit more for the quality and trusted brand.

- HostGator – I still have HostClear but I also opened a second account with Hostgator. Hostgator is one of the biggest hosting companies and I am starting to understand why. Even though they are 2 times more expensive than HostClear, they are so worth it. Customer service is superb and I haven’t had any problems with my sites so far.Looking for good small web hosting company?

- HostClear – This is a sub-company of Justhost and I have nothing bad to say about them. Their customer service was very good for the time I was with them and extremely response. Usually would get my questions answered within 30-60mins.
